Pensions Rally 22nd October 2008
A pensions rally at Westminster Methodist Central Hall and lobby of Parliament is taking place on Wednesday 22nd October 2008, commencing at midday.
The rally is a joint venture between the National Pensioners’ Convention and the TUC, specifically supported by a number of affiliated unions. The event will focus on the call to end pensioners poverty and its theme is the support of today’s workers for current pensioners.
12 noon - Rally, Methodist Central Hall, Westminster. Speakers include MPs, trade union and pensioners’ leaders
2pm onwards - lobby of MPs, House of Commons
