Transfer of Maintrain (MML) Staff to Midland Mainline Ltd

At a Company Council meeting on 29th March, a formal announcement was made that Maintrain (MML) employees would transfer to Midland Mainline Limited with effect from Sunday 29th April 2007.

A presentation was given at the Company Council meeting which included confirmation that staff would be transferred in accordance with the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 known as T.U.P.E. arrangements. Therefore all staff will retain their current Terms and Conditions and continuity of service.

The Company has given assurances that all effected staff will be given detailed briefing over the next couple of weeks.

Pay negotiations will take place for all staff covered by collective bargaining on 4th May with your current employer Maintrain.
